Apretero 125/80 Kit is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Uses

Etoposide is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat certain forms of lung cancer (such as small cell lung cancer). Etoposide works by slowing the growth of cancer cells.

 

How to use Etoposide

Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.

Do not increase your dose or use this drug more often or for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not improve any faster, and your risk of side effects will increase.

Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, or diarrhea may occur. Nausea and vomiting can be severe. In some cases, your doctor may prescribe medication to prevent or relieve nausea and vomiting. Eating several small meals, not eating before treatment, or limiting activity may help lessen some of these effects. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Temporary hair loss may occur. Normal hair growth should return after treatment has ended.

Precautions

Before taking etoposide, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, blood problems (such as low red blood cells/white blood cells/platelets), previous radiation/chemotherapy treatment.

Etoposide can make you more likely to get infections or may worsen any current infections. Therefore, wash your hands well to prevent the spread of infection. Avoid contact with people who have infections that may spread to others (such as chickenpox, measles, flu).

Tamodex (Tamoxifen Citrate tablets) - Product Information

Tamodex (Tamoxifen Citrate tablets) are used to treat early breast cancer in women who have already been treated with surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy. This medicine is used to reduce the risk of developing a more serious type of breast cancer in women who have had ductal carcinoma in situ.

Tamodex is a selective estrogen-receptor modulator (SERM) that works both by reducing factors that increase the growth of breast cells and increasing factors that decrease the growth of breast cells. Tamodex is also used to reduce the risk of breast cancer in women who are at high risk for the disease due to their age, personal medical history, and family medical history.

Tamoxifen Citrate, the active ingredient present in Tamodex blocks the actions of oestrogen. Oestrogen is a natural female sex hormone. In certain types of breast cancer, oestrogen can help cancer cells to grow.

Uses of Tamodex Tablets

Tamoxifen is used to lower the chance of getting breast cancer in women with a higher than normal chance of getting breast cancer (high-risk women) and to lower the chance of getting invasive (spreading) breast cancer in women who had surgery and radiation for ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).

Generic Tamoxifen Citrate (Tamodex by Biochem) is used in women after they have finished early treatment. Early treatment can include surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. It may keep the cancer from spreading to others parts of the body. It may also reduce the woman’s chance of getting a new breast cancer.

How to Use Tamodex Tablets

Swallow the tablets whole, with water or another non-alcoholic liquid. You can take Generic Tamoxifen Citrate with or without food at the same time each day.

If you miss a dose, take it when you remember, then take the next dose as usual. If it is almost time for your next dose or you remember at your next dose, do not take extra tablets to make up the missed dose. Take Generic Nolvadex like Tamodex by Biochem (Tamoxifen 10 mg or 20 mg ) for at least 5 years post treatment, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

Tamoxifen Citrate Side effects

Call your doctor right away if you have any changes in the lining (endometrium) or body of your uterus. These changes may indicate that serious problems are starting, including cancer of the uterus. The signs of changes in the uterus are:
• vaginal bleeding or bloody discharge that could be a rusty or brown color
• change in your monthly bleeding such as in the amount or timing of bleeding or increased clotting
• pain or pressure in your pelvis (below your belly button)

Blood clots in your veins or lungs can cause serious problems, including death. You may get clots up to 2-3 months after you stop taking Generic Tamoxifen Citrate (Tamoxifen 20 mg). The signs of blood clots are:
• sudden chest pain, shortness of breath, coughing up blood
• pain, tenderness, or swelling in one or both of your legs
