Hytrin (terazosin) is in a group of drugs called alpha-adrenergic blockers. Hytrin relaxes your veins and arteries so that blood can more easily pass through them. It also relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate.

Hytrin is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), or to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

 

Important information

You should not use Hytrin if you are allergic to terazosin. Hytrin may cause dizziness or fainting, especially when you first start taking it or when you start taking it again.   How should I take Hytrin?

Hytrin lowers blood pressure and may cause dizziness or fainting, especially when you first start taking it, or when you start taking it again. 1 What Anastrozole tablets are and what they are used for

Anastrozole tablets contain a substance called anastrozole. This belongs to a group of medicines called 'aromatase inhibitors'. Anastrozole tablets are used to treat breast cancer in women who have gone through the menopause.

Anastrozole tablets work by cutting down the amount of the hormone called estrogen that your body makes. It does this by blocking a natural substance (an enzyme) in your body called 'aromatase'.

Do not take Anastrozole tablets if you

• areallergicto anastrozole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section section 6 ).
• arepregnantorbreast feeding(see the section called 'Pregnancy and breast-feeding').

Anastar 1mg Tablet can be taken with food or on an empty stomach with a glass of water or juice.

Nausea (upset stomach) and hot flashes (sudden sweating and feelings of warmth) may occur on starting treatment with Anastar 1mg Tablet but should go away with time. If nausea is bothersome, take it after meal.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible if it is within 12 hours of the missed dose. If it is more than 12 hours, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.
